SindByte MCP Server 9.1.46

Feature Guides

Use these focused pages to assess the product surface before downloading. Exact tool availability is controlled by the local runtime catalog and configuration.

Host Integration

SindByte exposes JSON-RPC 2.0 over the local /mcp endpoint, normally at 127.0.0.1:5555. Compatible hosts can initialize a session, discover the published surface, and call tools through the standard MCP protocol.

LM Studio, Roo Code, Codex-compatible clients, and other streamable-HTTP MCP hosts can use the same local endpoint. Compact registration can keep the advertised surface small while ToolCatalog supplies the detailed schemas on demand.

Windows Automation

Local tool families cover files, clipboard, data conversion, window discovery, screenshots, controlled input, tasks, and timers. The tools are designed to be published selectively so a workstation exposes only the actions appropriate to its workflow.

Release 9.1.46 also includes the repaired FTP/SFTP workflows for profile-based remote file operations. Remote transfers remain subject to local configuration and confirmation policy.

Safety Controls

Feature flags govern whether a tool is disabled, enabled, or requires an explicit confirmation. The Config Editor controls the publication surface, endpoint settings, and local-only binding. Keep sensitive actions such as deletion, external communication, remote transfer, and command execution confirmation-gated.

Credentials are managed by the configuration system and should never be copied into prompts, documentation, screenshots, or support requests.

AI and Connectors

Dialog-LAB and LMChat are included SindByte MCP Server dialog surfaces, not separate AI Workshop products. Dialog-LAB supports guided multi-model dialog and review workflows; LMChat provides the local model conversation surface.

SindByte also connects local work with controlled provider, Office, mail, research, SFTP, and AI-orchestration capabilities. Each connector is optional: its registration, credentials, and allowed actions are independently controlled on the local machine.

The runtime catalog determines the current set. The 9.1.46 catalog snapshot contains 254 enabled tools across 20 families; installations can intentionally expose fewer.

Operations and Help

The download includes SindByte 01.exe, the Config Editor, installation material, and the offline SindByte_MCP_Server_9.1.46.chm help file. Start locally, configure the endpoint and feature flags, then connect a compatible host.
